Hydir Idris (Senior @ TVS CENTRAL)

BA Hons in Music (Major in Contemporary/Pop Vocals), Diploma in Popular Music Performance, Completed 40-hours 'Essentials of Teaching and Learning' course by NIE, Classical Guitar certification by Yamaha Music School, Mediacorp Radio DJ Certification

Hydir is a Singaporean singer-songwriter who holds a B.A in Popular Music Performance from LASALLE College of the Arts with over 14 years of vocal performance, vocal recording experience and 4 years of vocal coaching experience. He was coached by Babes Conde in singing and mentored Dr. Joseph Curiale in production and music business during his time in college. Hydir is an NIE certified educator and registered Arts & Music Instructor by MOE. With fundamental understanding and knowledge of the contemporary voice techniques accompanied by an expressive singing voice, Hydir hopes to collaborate with his students and provide them a safe space to explore and connect with their singing voices through tailored practices.

Fathin Amira (Junior @ TVS CENTRAL)

Diploma in Songwriting & Music Production (SOMA)

Not one to be resting on her laurels, Fathin Amira, a songwriter, multilingual singer, recording artiste and aspiring superstar, has been constantly driven to pit herself against the best since her first debut public performance at age 5. Throughout her elementary and high school years, she was trained under her school’s choir group. Graduating from School of Music & The Arts (SOMA SG) Diploma in Songwriting & Music Production, she learnt another skill of song composition and studio work. Fathin’s music style is heavily influenced by Pop R&B and Soul music.

Alyssa Sri (Junior @ TVS CENTRAL)

Alyssa is a singer-songwriter who holds a Diploma in Popular Music Performance from LASALLE College of the Arts, majoring in Pop Vocals. She has composed, arranged, and produced her own songs since the age of 12, and has an extensive performing experience in Singapore, both as a soloist and alongside her musician parents. Alyssa specialises in teaching Pop, Rock, Ballad, R&B, Soul, and Alternative Rock in English, Mandarin, Malay, Japanese and Korean language

Marcus Tay (Junior @ TVS CENTRAL)

Having graduated from Lasalle Diploma in Music, Marcus had experienced vocal coaching and is also a seasoned performer. Performing professionally since 2016, Marcus had performed at various places like Esplanade, Padang and Singapore Indoor Stadium. He wishes to delve into the world of vocal coaching, to help people better their voices at the same time better his own singing.

Harsha Channa (Senior @ TVS EAST)

Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology. Holistic Vocal Coaching Training. Classical Hindustani Vocal Training under Guru Deepa Paliwal (SIFAS, 2012-2014) Western Classical Vocal Training under Helga Udovchenko (PBE)

Harsha is a highly intuitive singer and vocal coach with a background in pop-vocal technique training and hindustani classical music. She holds vast performance experience with live bands for both live and television audiences. Language and genre are no barriers for her holistic approaches to reach effortless singing. Past students have opted to learn songs in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay, Mandarin, Cantonese and Punjabi. As a native Hindi speaker, she picked up conversational Tamil and made it into the TOP 11 of Singapore’s Vasantham Star 2023.

Phyllis Soh (Intern @ TVS Central)

Phyllis is a diploma graduate from Lasalle College of the Arts specializing in Pop Vocals. Her musical journey began as a student at The Vocal Studio in 2019, where she was under the tutelage of Coach Hanna. Returning as a new Coach, She is eager as ever to grow as a musician and an instructor. Phyllis believes that it is important to embrace one’s unique voice as it opens up a journey of self exploration and self expression. Her aim is to establish a nurturing environment where her students can delve into all facets of singing - including the mental, anatomical, and emotional aspects - in order to discover what suits each individual best.

Hanna has over 10 years of teaching experience and teaches musical theatre, pop (Kpop, Chinese, English, Japanese) vocals. With a thorough understanding in physical, cognitive, social and emotional aspects of music and voice, Hanna takes a holistic and effective coaching approach customised for each individual.
